The Mid-South Fair returns to Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi, for another year of big fun and bigger memories, Oct. 1-11! The return of the Fair brings the return of annual contests and the addition of something new.
This year, the Fair is hosting three contests:
The Student Art Contest allows teachers to enter impressive creations from their pupils. The artwork is displayed at the Fair throughout the event’s run and the winning students receive a cash prize! Details on how to enter and submission deadlines can be found here.
The Poster Competition is a perfect opportunity for local artists of all ages to create a commemorative design in honor of the Fair. Digital works must be submitted by Aug. 31. The winning design will be on display at the Fair and at various locations throughout DeSoto County. Learn how to enter here.
If you have a special gift, the Youth Talent Contest is the place to show it off. Compete against some of the best talent across the Mid-South at this storied event that has welcomed legends like Elvis Presley, Justin Timberlake, Michael Bublé and more.
