The Mid-South Fair is headed back to Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi, Oct. 1-11, and we’ve got a sneak peek into what’s in store. From rides and games to live music and attractions, there’s something for everyone at the Mid-South Fair!
Thrill rides
Beloved favorites return and new attractions make their anticipated arrival at this year’s Mid-South Fair! You can soak up epic views from atop the Ferris wheel, raise your heart rate on the new Anarchy ride, get lost in mirror mazes and scream with excitement down a giant slide. No matter your level of thrill-seeking, the Fair has something for you!
Ground acts and attractions
The Fair has fun for the whole family, including exciting ground acts and shows kids of all ages will enjoy! Witness the Fearless Flores motorcycle show, Henry Rivera: Magic & Illusions and Clowning Around Stage Show; come face-to-face with grizzly bears and parakeets; and enjoy pig races, pony rides, a petting zoo and more.
Fair food & biergarten
Pronto Pups, funnel cakes, fresh lemonade, oh my! The Fair offers an array of traditional Fair food, plus beloved local favorites to keep your family fueled for all the fun. And, this year offers a NEW biergarten complete with comfy furniture, TVs, craft beers courtesy of Mississippi Ale House and more.
Live music on the Main Stage
Stop by the Main Stage and soak up this year’s entertainment! With performances from country music’s Tyler Nance and Drew Baldridge, Memphis-based Almost Elton John and Chinese Dub Embassy, local DJs and more, there’s something everyone will enjoy. Latino Day on Oct. 4, and Gospel Day on Oct. 11, bring additional genres as well. Did we mention all concerts are free with admission?!
Youth Talent Contest
What do Elvis Presley, Lucy Hale, Justin Timberlake and your child have in common? They all participated in the Mid-South Fair’s Youth Talent Contest! Winners from each age group will take home a cash prize. Learn more and sign up today.
Student Art Contest
The Student Art Contest showcases artwork from youth across the Mid-South. All pieces are displayed at the Fair, and winners will receive a cash prize. Learn more.
Miss Mid-South Fair Pageant
